Italian ceramics importer Giardini di Sole announces “La Vita è un Viaggio” (Life is a Journey), a unique bridal contest celebrating everyone’s favorite four-letter word.
“What makes this contest so special is that we’re commemorating more than romantic love; we’re looking for brides who have taken their hearts on a variety of journeys and discovered unexpected places within themselves, their relationships, in nature or in a new city or country.
To help brides hone in on the story they’d like to share, we’re asking them to consider the following three questions:
· What aspects of your personal journey have shaped you into the woman you are today?
· What aspects of your romantic journey with your fiancé made you know he was The One?
· What travel journey impacted you most/helped bring something new out in you?
We’re also inspiring our contestants to stretch their creativity by encouraging submissions in the form of written or photo essays, videos, songs, poetry or other visual mediums. Brides will be able to view each other’s entries and make comments in an online forum via our dedicated Google Group at http://groups.google.com/group/giardini-bridal-contest. All submissions should be sent to giardini-bridal-contest@googlegroups.com with the subject line as follows: NAME and TYPE OF JOURNEY
The contest begins on Tuesday, March 1 and runs through midnight April 18. Three winners will be announced at the Boston showroom on May 6. Prizes are as follows:
First/Grand Prize: 8-person place setting of Cassandra Lemon design with serving pieces, and an Arcobaleno or Artistico table of choice.
Second Prize: 4-person Cassandra breakfast set in her signature Pomegranate design, plus a 60-cm Arcobaleno-topped bistro table
Third Prize: A $300 gift certificate to Giardini di Sole, redeemable online or at either showroom, and a Bridal Gift Basket”
